1918年6月1日、徳島県鳴門市の板東俘虜収容所……。ドイツ兵俘虜(捕虜)たちによって、ベートーベン交響曲「第九」が、アジアで初めて全曲演奏されました。初演の背景には、俘虜に対する人道的な配慮を行った松江豊寿所長の存在がありました。
