著者プロフィール：鬼木　一直（おにき　かずなお） 東京富士大学　教授。 東京工業大学6種（建築系）に入学、大学2年次に応用物理学科に転籍、理学部同学科卒業。大学院に進学し超低温物性物理の研究を行い、第ゼロ音波の観測に成功、東京工業大学修士課程理工学研究科修了。
ソニー株式会社入社1年目にハードディスク垂直記録方式の薄膜磁気ヘッドの記録再生確認に成功、その後、世界初の大型液晶ディスプレイ、愛知万博出展50m×10mの超巨大レーザーディスプレイデバイス、消費電力ゼロの水循環を利用した厚さ1ミリ以下の薄型ヒートパイプ、超高周波ミリ波伝送による大容量データ伝送デバイスなど数多くの開発に携わる。その間出願した特許件数は43件に及ぶ。
また、開発マネージャとして多くの人材育成を行った後、2014年から、東京富士大学経営学部准教授、2017年に同教授。大学広報室長、メディアセンター部長、図書館長、入試広報部入試部長、IR推進室長などを歴任。大学広報室長を務めていた2015年に、本学は社会人としての実務経験を学生のうちから身につける『実務IQ教育』を提唱、社会人基礎力を高める実務教育を積極的に推進している。
